Process Section

Step 01

Schedule Your Free Design Call

We’ll start with a quick phone consultation to learn about your project and make sure we’re the right fit.

Step 02

On-Site Visit + Concept Plan

If we both agree to move forward, we’ll meet at your property. You’ll receive a custom concept plan, scope of work, and preliminary budget range—completely free.

Step 03

Approve the Direction + Start Design

When you’re ready, submit your design retainer and we’ll begin the full 3D design and planning process.

Note: Concept plans are for presentation only and may not be kept, photographed, or reproduced. Final plans are only shared at the Pre-Construction Meeting once the build contract is signed.

If your property is more than 45 minutes from our office, a consultation charge will apply ($500–$1,500), credited to your retainer if you continue.

Design Retainer

Your project starts with a paid design retainer to cover the time and resources required for your custom concept and 3D model. Retainers include up to two revisions and are billed at $90/hr against the balance.

Based on Area Being Designed:

Properties with dense trees or terrain may require a slightly higher retainer due to increased modeling time.
Any unused portion of your design retainer is credited toward your build.

Important Note on Plans:

Retainers are based on area being designed, not total property size.
Plans are only shared with clients who move forward into construction.
- Pre-Construction Plan: Provided once the build agreement is signed.
- As-Built Plan (Post-Completion): Includes irrigation zones, main line locations, lighting/irrigation wiring, and valve placements

Landscape Design + Build Projects

Typical Range: $25,000 – $250,000+

Includes full design, hardscaping, plantings, lighting, drainage, irrigation, and complete installation.

Note: We do not offer standalone design services—our design process is exclusive to clients who plan to build with us.
